How do you organise and store beads and necklaces?

I have tons of long beads and necklaces hanging off shelves in my room and I don’t know how to store them properly. If I don’t hang them up they get all tangled up together and I can’t find jewellery storage boxes that are sizable enough to cope with my lot.

Any suggestions?

I bought loads of mannequin-form necklace hangers and put them on my shelves.

Mine are blue and have a puffy skirt, but this was just an example in case i haven’t explained myself very well!

At an Outdoor World or sporting goods store, ask about TACKLE BOXES (for fishing lures, etc.), there are large ones suitable for storing lots of little items. There’s a model like a tiny suitcase,which opens on each side. It has small divisions, and the lid keeps the items covered & in place.
Also, check stores that carry kitchen/housewares and ask for the kind of MUG RACK that hangs on the wall. I hang my necklaces on those.
Last hint: call a hobby shop & tell them of your need.

You can purchase these body-looking things now.
and they have hooks on them to hang jewelry.
Personally, i have three nails in my bedroom wall. doing down diagonally and i have necklaces hanging on them.
it looks suprisingly very cool and im happy with the end result.

I use a cork-board with jumbo sized tacks. The necklace can hang off the plastic part of it.

Buy one of those hanging belt hangers for your long necklaces. Keeps them tangle free and easy to see and you can hang it in your closet with your clothes.

you can literally hang them over the neck of a clothes hanger, thats what i do, they don’t get tangled then you can just hang them up with your cloths = more organised
